Maria Sernovets graduated in 1989 from The Moscow State Law Academy. Sernovets worked in Moscow City prosecutor's office until she has joined the Moscow City Bar in 1998. Sernovets is a member of the Moscow Chamber of Advocates and is working in Padva & Partners since 2006.

Maria Sernovets represents clients' interests in general jurisdiction courts and artbitration courts in various types of cases, provides consultations to corporate clients on a number of legal topics. Sernovets works on criminal cases during investigation and in court with various charges including those related to illegal economics activities, wrongdoings against federal and local government services and officials.
