Sergej Seliverstov graduated in 1994 from the Law Department of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. He has been working as a lawyer since 1992. He has become an advocate in 1995. Seliverstov is a member of the Moscow Chamber of Advocates and has been with Padva & Partners since 2004.

Sergej Seliverstov provides legal support for various business related activities and legal advice for individuals. He has a lot of experience managing complex arbitration cases. Seliverstov represents clients' interests in general jurisdiction courts and arbitration tribunals, provides consultations on matters related to civil law, land use law, tax law, household law, anti-monopoly law, stock company law, bankruptsy and intellectual property rights law. Seliverstov has a lot of experience in solving property ownership disputes between parties in accordance with the corporate law and defending cases when investor's rights are affected by illegal attacks from third parties. He has worked several times as a coordinator for a group of advocates representing clients' interests in corporate conflicts and defending against unfriendly takeovers.

Seliverstov participates in criminal litigation. He provides defence during investigation and in court including court with jury.
